Grow Wild
The SDMBHA strives to play a leading role in the custodianship of the unique aquatic environment that is Greenland Dock. It recognises its designation as a SINC (Site of Importance for Nature Conservation ) and actively works towards its preservation.
The SDMBHA has implemented many habitat establishment programs and re-greenling initiatives to support the abundant wildlife that also lives on the dock.
We take pride in the docks position in wildlife and pollinator corridors from the tidal Thames inland and across the Rotherhithe peninsular and beyond.
The SDMBHA is proud to partner with other fantastic neighbouring ecological management teams as part of the Green Connections 106 collective as outlined in this brief application video to Kew Gardens Grow Wild campaign.
